Westminster Group Plc announces the launch of a new Rapid Deployable Occupied Car Scanning System.
The Rapid Deployable Occupied Car Scanner can be quickly deployed from a flat bed tonne truck fitted with a Hiab type crane and be up and running within 15 minutes.
The Rapid Deployable Occupied Car Scanner is a drive through scanning system that highlights the presence of hidden persons and contraband, such as weapons, explosives and narcotics.
The system can process up to 360 cars, MPV’s, SUV’s or medium size vans per hour, whilst the driver and passengers remain in the vehicle.
Conventional vehicle scanners require the driver and passengers to leave the vehicle prior to the scanning taking place to prevent harmful radiation exposure, this slows the through put of vehicles to approximately 30 per hour and there is still a potential risk that the occupants may be carrying contraband.
