Airports Council International (ACI) Meeting in Panama

The recent annual meeting of the Security and Facilitation Committee of the Latin American Chapter of Airports Council International (one of the 3 main bodies influencing the development of airports and civil aviation worldwide), took place on 1-2 August in Panama.

Westminster’s Business Development Director, Mr. Eugene Gerstein, an internationally recognised security expert, was invited to speak to the assembled dignitaries (comprising of airport CEO’s and security directors), on the topic of Behavioural Analysis.

Mr. Gerstein presented various salient points, with regards to using profiling as an important add-on tool to technology, and worked to educate delegates on how these methods can be properly deployed to make air travel more secure. The session was well received, with a lot of follow up questions, an interactive discussion, and expressions of interest in further cooperation.
