From 1st – 5th November 2013 Westminster CEO Peter Fowler was an invited guest to Namibia, staying at the State House, during which time he held various meetings and discussions regarding Westminster’s security services including meetings with the President of Namibia, His Excellency Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba.

Peter Fowler also met with the Founding Fathers and first Presidents of both Namibia and Zambia – Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma and Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, attending several functions with them.

Commenting on the visit Peter Fowler said:

“I am most encouraged by the growing awareness of our services and reputation, particularly in our chosen markets within Africa, The Middle East and Asia.

“As part of the planned expansion of our services within these markets I was delighted to have received the invitation to visit Namibia and discuss our security services with President Pohamba and others. Namibia is indeed a beautiful country, with significant growth potential and I believe there is tremendous scope for our services within the country and region.

“I am also delighted by the growing support we are receiving from the British High Commissions and Embassies in our target markets and this is no less the case with the British High Commission in Windhoek, Namibia who have been very helpful, supportive and informative.”
