Sovereign Ferries – Update

Sovereign Ferries have now completed the refurbishment works at its Tagrin Ferry Terminal, including new landing jetties and waiting rooms, which is now fully operational. Tagrin will be the base from which the new ferry operation in Sierra Leone will conduct operations providing a fast, secure and professional transfer between the airport and the ferry terminal by brand new air-conditioned busses and between the ferry terminal and mainland by the impressive Sierra Queen ferry.

Sovereign have also completed the refurbishment works at the main Government Wharf Terminal in Freetown where government contractors are undertaking works on the provision of new jetties. Pending completion of these new jetties Sovereign are constructing a temporary landing stage appropriate for the ferry’s operations.

Services are expected to commence in April 2016
