Westminster International Ltd are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a significant new contract for a specialist leak detection system at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) to protect their main plant rooms.
NPL came to Westminster via their M & E contractor with a problem with water pumps leaking in the main plant rooms.
Westminster came up with a unique solution, combining their standard leak detection equipment integrated into a bespoke signalling system. This unique solution provided by Westminster fully met the NPL requirements for early warning of any problem in main plant areas caused by plant leaking which could lead to serious and extensive damage to sensitive areas.
Commenting on the award Westminster Group’s CEO stated "I am pleased that we have been able to solve this potentially serious problem for our client and this contract award once again demonstrates how Westminster can provide innovative solutions to a wide range of Fire, Safety, Security or Defence issues."
