Westminster Group Plc announces that its Technology Divison subsidiary Westminster International Ltd has secured a contract for the supply of Hand Held Explosives Detectors together with Poison Detection Kits for onward supply to a South American Government.
The dual mode, portable hand held explosives detector is capable of both vapour and particulate sampling, with a capability of detecting most military and commercially available explosives C4, TNT, Dynamite, PETN, Semtex, EGDN, DMNB, RDX, ANFO, Black powder, Ammonium Nitrate, Urea Nitrate, Nitro-glycerine and TATP.
The self-contained, deployable food security test kits can detect concentrations of toxic chemicals and metallic substances in a wide range of food matrices. The technology uses multi-layered tabs that rapidly change colour within minutes when exposed to poisons at concentrations below human health effect levels.
