New 25 year Middle East airport project

Westminster’s aviation security subsidiary, Westminster Aviation Security Services (‘WASS’), has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with a Middle East Civil Aviation Authority for the provision of long term (up to 25 years) aviation security services at a significant international airport within the country concerned serving several million passengers annually.

Commenting on the MoU award Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:

“I am delighted to announce this latest and strategically important development in our roll out of long term managed services projects around the world. This latest MoU and other recent developments indicate the momentum we are building.

“Our announcement today of yet another major long term MoU is significant on a number of levels. It is the 7th long term project MoU now secured, 3 of which have been signed in the last 7 weeks, and all of which are the result of many months of business development work and negotiations. Notably these opportunities are spread across a number of different regions of the world, reducing geographic risk. The airport which is the subject of this latest development is strategic both in terms of location and forecast growth, with potential for further agreements in respect of the country’s other international airports.
